Business Profile

L.H.Vale-Onslow (motors) Ltd. was set-up in 1928 and became a limited company in 1939. Set-up by Len Vale-Onslow Snr. M.B.E the current managing director. He first rode a bike in 1908 at the age of eight and has been hooked ever since.
In 1927 he set-up S.O.S motors, in which he produced motorcycles himself for world-wide export using: Villiers, JAP and Python engines in a self designed chrome-molybdenum frame. He ran the company until Tommy Meeten took him over in 1932.
